Christian Christof

Videographer - Photographer - Editor

Under the stage name Steve Holmes, I am renowned for my work in front of the camera, credited in over a thousand movies on IMDb. In addition to my acting career, I have gained extensive experience as a producer, director, videographer, photographer and editor. I have had the privilege of shooting films and photo sets in 21 countries across four continents, managing projects from conception to completion on behalf of my clients.

If you prefer a visual introduction, I have prepared a brief video for you:

Fashion Show

Fashion Show

This fashion show themed movie was my most complex production. It involved:

  • creating the outfits (my fashion background helped)
  • finding a suitable studio
  • Building a catwalk and further sets
  • Shooting with four cameras
... not to mention exterior shots in a moving car and much more. We captured simultaneously different angles with four Canon EOS C300 Mark II cameras. Two of them were equipped with a Canon CN-E 30-300mm T2.95-3.7 L S EF Mount Cinema Zoom Lens. The main part of the movie had to be shot and edited in a way that all four video feeds are in sync and the viewer can switch back and forth between the camera angles. My roles in this production were:
  • Producer
  • Director
  • Director of Photography (DP)
  • Editing Supervisor
  • In the Videography Examples below you can find the intro to this scene and some (BTS) Behind The Scenes impressions together with other interesting clips.
